1ST SHIFT-CNC LATHE MACHINIST- 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Location: WAYLAND,
MI
We're seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who is proficient in Mazatrol software with a strong mechanical aptitude. This machinist must value clear communication, a positive attitude, and a dedication to craftsmanship.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience, (minimum 5 years), in CNC lathe machining
- Understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances, (GD&T).
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathe machinery in accordance with work orders, blueprints, specifications, drawings, reference plans, location of surfaces, GD&T and machining parameters. This includes all programming and set-ups.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting to keep machines running smoothly.
- Work closely with your teammates to refine machining processes.
- Utilize precision tools to measure and inspect parts for accuracy
- Follow safety protocols.
- Mentor peers, sharing knowledge and skills, especially in CNC machining best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest in CNC machining and software advancements.
- Ability to effectively problem solve.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks.
