We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a 2nd Shift Team Leader. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations during the second shift, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. The 2nd Shift Team Leader will lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities during the second shift, including setup, operation, and cleanup of production equipment.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Train, mentor, and motivate production team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Assign tasks and prioritize workload to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any issues or deviations from standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to coordinate workflow and resolve any production-related issues.
- Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews as required.
- Promote a positive work environment and enforce company policies and procedures.
