As a Bagger Operator at Cheeze Kurls, you will be responsible for operating automated bagging and sealing equipment used in packaging our snack products, including chips, cheese curls, and other puffed or extruded snacks. You’ll ensure that each bag is filled accurately, sealed properly, and meets our quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor bagging machines to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of snack products.
- Adjust machine settings for different product weights, bag sizes, and material types.
- Inspect bags for proper weight, seal integrity, and date coding.
- Refill film rolls, product hoppers, and other materials as needed.
- Troubleshoot and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations in compliance with food safety and GMP standards.
- Accurately complete production paperwork, including counts, downtime, and quality checks.
- Coordinate with other line staff (e.g., boxers, palletizers) to ensure a smooth packaging process.
