Position Summary:
The Kitchen Operator is responsible for preparing, operating, and monitoring kitchen equipment used in the production of Cheese Kurls snack products. This role ensures that recipes are followed accurately, equipment is maintained properly, and all production meets quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor kitchen machinery used for mixing, cooking, and preparing snack products.
• Follow established recipes, formulas, and production procedures to maintain product consistency.
• Ensure accurate measurement and mixing of ingredients.
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and product texture to meet quality standards.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Adhere to all food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and report any equipment issues or malfunctions to maintenance or supervision.
• Assist with documentation of production logs, batch records, and quality checks.
• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in food production, machine operation, or manufacturing preferred (training provided).
• Ability to follow recipes and written instructions accurately.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work in a warm production environment.
