ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads and manages the process of mixing raw ingredients to make final product
• Set up lines with proper equipment for production
• Identify what ingredients are needed and verify Hilo driver brings correct ingredients
• Verify mix operators are making batches correctly
• Review schedule and prepare for any change overs
• Remove all ingredients/materials that are no longer needed after changeovers
• Make sure lines are running at optimal speeds
• Make any adjustments to mixing process or machines to ensure product quality
• Work with quality team to make sure product meets customer expectations
• Develop new staff through training processes
• Ensure extruders are put together correctly and extra parts are cleaned
• Ensure all kitchen operators are staying on task and taking proper break times
• Must arrive 15minutes prior to shift start to ensure everything is ready for their shift
• Work with kitchen operators to keep kitchen clean/organized during the shift and for the following shift
• Ensure all paperwork is correct and all paperwork is being filled out daily
• Ensure the rework of cornmeal and slurry is being checked/done daily

ADDITIONAL NOTES
Food Safety Responsibilities: To help ensure all personnel and equipment GMPs are in proper order and being followed. To report anything that cannot be corrected by immediate team members to appropriate supervisor and/or management staff for follow-up.
