Position Overview: As the Production Line Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of the production line, ensuring efficient workflow and the timely completion of production orders. You will serve as the key point of communication between the production team and the Production Manager, addressing any machine issues and optimizing productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Workflow: Oversee daily operations on the production line, ensuring tasks are prioritized and executed efficiently to meet production goals.
- Ensure Production Orders Completion: Monitor the progress of production orders, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Communicate Machine Issues: Act as the first point of contact for any machine-related issues, reporting problems to maintenance and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Coordinate with Production Manager: Maintain regular communication with the Production Manager regarding production status, potential delays, and any challenges faced by the team.
- Train and Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance and training to production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Implement Safety and Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control procedures, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Analyze Performance Metrics: Monitor production metrics and provide feedback to the Production Manager on team performance and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 1 year in a machine operation role.
- Strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with maintenance personnel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using production management software and tools.

- Ability to be reliable, dependable, and adaptable.
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Bilingual candidates strongly preferred

- Ability to see at close and distant ranges, as well as peripheral vision to notice safety hazards.
- Ability to demonstrate normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; maintain corrected hearing and vision to normal range.

- Primarily in a greenhouse/warehouse environment with frequent exposure to seasonal conditions which may range from extreme heat and humidity in the summer to cold in the winter. Direct exposure to loud noise levels and moderate levels of dust, allergens and other chemicals.
