A company with over 100 years of producing gourmet food products, renowned for our tradition and quality, is looking for a Kitchen Operator. From caramel cooking, candy making, and nut roasting operations, we deliver nationwide. Position: Kitchen/Equipment Operator

Job Description:
  • Measure and mix ingredients by hand.
  • Learn to operate all nut roasting and candy cooking equipment.
  • Train in caramel cooking, candy making, and nut roasting operations.
  • Operate and troubleshoot food processing equipment.
  • Tear down and inspect equipment.
  • Follow all OSHA, FDA, safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Assist on packing lines and help direct the work of others.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • 4-day work week with some overtime required in November and December.
  • Work in a very clean and air-conditioned environment.
  • Note: The facility handles peanuts. Candidates with peanut allergies should consider this before applying.
Requirements:
  • Ability to stand all day with minimal sitting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Food industry background in the manufacturing field.
  • Equipment operating experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Must be available between 4am-4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday, with occasional Friday/Saturday during peak demand periods. Regular schedule would be 5am-4:30pm.
